Welcome to our Women's Ministry

Who and What we are.
We ladies of the Daughters of Abraham are privileged to be called into this ministry.

We work with other members of the Body to further the cause of Christ.

We have certain requirements to belong to our ministry. (Our By-Laws)

1.) You must be born again, and committed to the Word - Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

2.) Each sister must continuously strengthen and nurture their relationship with the Father, and be led and taught of the Holy Spirit, through His written Word and prayer.

3.) Each sister must be committed to love one another (John 13:34-35)

4.) Strife should be avoided at all cost. (James 3:16)
Disagreements should be settled, as our Lord commands, (St. Matthew 18:15-17) And quickly! (St. Matthew 5:24)

Disagreements that can not be settled will be taken to the individuals Pastor's wives for further discussion, prayer, and a decision.

5.) No effort will be initiated without prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to him and we rely totally on His direction.

6.) Sisters will be maintained through prayer, so that we can organize and execute that which the Spirit of the Lord has called us to do.

7.) A. You must be an actively attending member, and in good standing at a local church. Upon joining a letter of
          recommendation from your Pastor will be required.
     B. The Church that you attend must be scripturally sound and Bible teaching: acceptable Bible editions will contain the
         original 66 books of the Canon of Scriptures (paraphrases have changed the words of God,
         read Revelation 22:18,19, Deuteronomy 12:32). For further details read our Statement of Faith here.

8.) No use of mind altering drugs or drunkenness is allowed.
    A. Ministry patches will not be worn into bars except when doing Ministry business.
    B. No alcohol to be consumed while wearing patches (Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and
        whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.)

9) Membership patches are the property of the the Ministry.
A. Members that are leaving or being expelled are required to turn in their patches at that time.

10) Should a member fall away from the Lord her patches will be recalled.
    #1 Revocation of patches
        A. Any member who would bring discredit, dishonor or dishonesty to the Ministry will be subject to expulsion.
        B. Out of need a written vote will be taken.
        C. Upon final termination, an expelled member shall surrender her patches and any Ministry property and will have no
             claim in or against any funds or properties of the Ministry.
    #2 Surrendering of patches
        A. Should any member choose to freely surrender her patches and after a time if the member wishes their patches back
            she must follow the reinstatement procedure below.
    #3 Reinstatement of patches and membership.
        A. There will be a hang around period of three months (The three month period can be waved by officers).
        B. At a meeting there will be a vote to (100% agreement necessary) decide if the former member will be reinstated and
             patches returned.

11) Officers - Main Chapter Only
      #1 Duties
            1/ Coordinates Members functions & ideas.
            2/ Head Spiritual direction. of the Ministry.
            3/ Main contacts (spokesmen) for the Ministry.
            4/ Contact members concerning the Ministry, or meetings or events.
            5/ All publicity, tracts, advertisement, hand out (Printed) material, web pages, etc., are to go through Main Chapter

12) Meetings: All meetings will begin and close with prayer.
   #1 To be held monthly where there are two or more members in any given area.
   #2 Meetings will be chaired by a different member each month.
   #3 Only patch holders will attend (Visitors allowed by invitation).
   #4 All patch holders will have a full vote
   #5 Notes of meetings, events attended, praise reports, etc: and treasury records will be sent to the main chapter each month.
   #6 Each Chapter will have a secretary and treasurer.
#7 Lone members (may be teamed up with other SOA Ministry Members) are to send in monthly reports of what they are doing also.

13) Dues $5.00 Monthly:

The Ministry of the Daughters of Abraham,

We are made up of women who are part of the Christian community, and have a desire to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We exist for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ within our communities.

We seek to evangelize wherever the Gospel message needs to be heard and people need to know Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior.

We also seek to work with local Churches, and other Seed of Abraham Ministries, assisting them to evangelize in their communities.

We are a family oriented Ministry

Our purpose and mission is to strengthen and enrich the spiritual lives of all. To teach, preach, instruct and counsel women that they might learn and grow in the fullness of Christ for all women as God intended. To encourage women to seek to fulfill their calling in Christ and become all that God intended them to be for His glory.
