Marrow Donor
Drive This event is being held with the special hope of finding a donor
match for Dave Bettencourt. Dave is the owner of Bettencourt’s Honda and
Suzuki. He is in need of a marrow transplant to survive. For those of us who
know Dave, we are aware of the many times he has come through to help others in
need. He frequently donates items and/or the use of his facilities to raise
funds. He has helped both large charities and individual motorcyclists in
need. It is now time for all to return the favor by stepping up and helping
Dave. Please make a special effort to recruit as many friends and family
members that you can to attend this drive.

OCC
Headquarters/ Museum -- VA Donation Ride from Mt. Greylock Bowling Parking Lot,
41 Roberts Drive,
North Adams, MA 01247 This is the first ride I have organized so lets start with
the basics. I am riding down to the new Orange County Choppers (OCC)
Headquarters and am tying to get a group of friends and other folks to join me.
What better way to do this than make some donations to the Local VA. Every
generation of my family including me and my wife have served in the military so
I would like to help give back some. Here are the details (that may change) for
the ride. We will meet at Mt. Greylock Bowling alley parking lot at 8am for
those that would like to donate money. The ride will roll at 830-845am and
should take close to three hours one way. We will spend 2-3 hours there at the
new museum and Headquarters and then ride back. This is a fun ride that will
stop 1 or 2 times along the way. Any donations made will go directly to the
North Adams VA office to support veterans affairs. I know we are all having
tough times but any donation would be appreciated. I am not or do not work for
the VA and they know nothing of this I just thought it would be a great way to
give back. Rain Date 5/2/09
