Welcome to our India Site! On this page
we will tell you a little about ourselves and the Ministry work that is
going on here in India. A very small percentage of our current population is
saved and I think this is true worldwide. Evangelism in our country is
carried out in many ways like in your country, but with some different
approaches. For one thing, we use the newspaper to carry the Gospel message
through ads and whole page articles. Newspapers are probably read more
completely here than in countries like the U.S. where just about every home
has a TV set. We have approximately one billion people and around sixty
million (plus) televisions, so newspapers are our main way of getting news
and keeping up with current events. Reading in India is the main source of
spare time entertainment, unlike in the modern western world. In Europe and
in the new world before the invention of the modern marvels, just about all
the literate people were well read and many of them were well versed in the
Bible (unlike today).
Evangelistic efforts in the western world are carried out mostly by TV
Evangelist, and pastors are trained at Seminaries. Not quite that way here
in India. Most of our Pastor's are trained at local Churches and
Evangelistic efforts are carried out by motorized vehicles (smile),
motorcycles, and motorbikes. Cars are the exception to the rule over here,
unlike countries like the U.S. Motorcycles are the best way for pastors to
travel to all the villages in our country. All the older motorcyclists remember the
British classics, Triumph, BSA, Vincent, Norton and the Royal Enfield and
so many more. Well the Enfield's are still made today in India and are
dependable transportation for many of our Pastors.

We believe that we are in the 'Last Days' and the words of
our Lord and His commands should be headed by all the believers and with a
sense of urgency. We read in Matthew 28:19 (NLT) Therefore, go and make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the
commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even
to the end of the age."
Our Churches train many Pastors, so they can go out to many villages and
plant and reap. Our pastors dig in the spiritual soil of peoples hearts,
they water the soil in he hearts and they gather the harvest that is brought
forth. You might think its strange the way we put it, but read what the Lord
said in John 4:34 (NLT) Then Jesus explained: "My nourishment comes from
doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. 35 Do you
think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer ends four
months from now? Look around you! Vast fields are ripening all around us and
are ready now for the harvest. 36 The harvesters are paid good wages, and
the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits
both the planter and the harvester alike! 37 You know the saying, 'One
person plants and someone else harvests.' And it's true. 38 I sent you to
harvest where you didn't plant; others had already done the work, and you
will gather the harvest."
I am married and I would like to share my Testimony with you.
I was born
December
2, 1952,
into a nominal Christian family in India.
I regularly attended church services and other Christian meetings, but only
to please my parents. My relation with the Lord was very superficial, and
thus I drifted away from faith.
As time went by,
I left home for my job. Before long, I was married and settled with my
family. Then, one day I met a man of God who began visiting me frequently.
As the servant of the Lord shared the Gospel, my eyes were opened to see the
truth. Also, the miraculous healing of my son who was born lame convinced me
and my wife to acknowledge Jesus as our Savior.
Thereafter, as
we began to go for church meetings diligently, we learned the need to obey
the Lord’s command. Before long, my wife and I made a public testimony of
our faith. Though my family went through tough trials, the Lord strengthened
us, and I decided to quit the job and to serve the Lord full-time. As I
sought the Lord’s guidance, the heavenly call was confirmed, and I
surrendered my life for full-time ministry. Later, I enrolled myself in a
Bible school where I could be trained in the Word. After the training, I
worked in different places to preach the Gospel. The Lord has blessed my
ministry and turned many to His fold. |

My
Present Ministry:
I am in
India, serving the Lord as a pastor and an evangelist to win the
non-Christian majority for Christ. I am involved in preaching in
open-air meetings, distributing Gospel literature, holding home prayer
fellowships and witnessing from house to house.
Please
pray for me and for my family
that we may fulfill God’s plan to expand His kingdom. |
