OUTREACH MINISTRIES OF MURPHY CHURCH OF GOD

Prayer Ministry

We would like to start with God’s leadership differing ministries of prayer.

For example:

Prayer Phone Line. We would like to have a designated line for people to call and leave their prayer requests on a voice mail.
Prayer for healing. We would like to start offering special services specifically for healing.
Prayer Room. We would like to have a room set aside where prayer is actively going, as much as possible.

Youth Center

We would like to see a place created for young people, so that they can safely have a place to “hang out”. We would like for it to be, not only for Christians. but for all young people to come and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Christian School

We understand that public schools are teaching things that we as Christians do not believe We also know that everyone is not comfortable with home schooling. Therefore, we would like to see a Christian School started to minister in a non-denominational way with Christian values and morals.

Mary’s House

Seeing the trend of unwed mothers and teen pregnancy, we would like to offer a place where they can find the help they need. This would include classes being taught, needs being met and offering the girls a safe place to stay, in a Christ centered home, provided by the church.

Community Needs Center

This would have a wide range of ministry. Including things such as: food pantry, clothing facility, job training, computer training and other supplies or training needed, within the community, as the need arises.
