Pastor Patrick & Diana Garrett

Patrick Garret has been the pastor of Murphy Church of God for the past twelve years. He was born and raised in Hiawassee, GA. The Lord became his personal Savior in 1989. Soon after, the Lord called him into the ministry. He attended East Coast Bible College, where he received his associates in pastoral studies. While attending East Coast he met his future wife, Diana Carroll. They were married in October of 1993. Shortly after receiving his degree, the Lord called him to pastor Murphy Church of God. Since the beginning of his ministry here in Murphy, the Lord has blessed our church family with tremendous growth spiritually and physically. Pastor Pat and his wife have dedicated their lives to do all that is needed to reach those in Cherokee and the surrounding counties, to bring them back into the will of the Lord. He has been actively involved in several community outreach programs. His purpose for this is for one reason: to reach those who feel unworthy of love and show them a love that has no boundaries.
