Chapter #1
If you don't find Chapter one to your liking don't miss Mark Of The Beast Chapter 13

"O u t l a w"  C h r i s t i a n i t y
going against the flow

   I've given this book a radical name because it deals with subject material that seems outside of present day teaching. When we study the New Testament we seem to overlook Simon the Zealot. Who were the Zealots, and what did they do? The Zealots would be considered (outlaws) criminals by today's standards. The Zealots had a great zeal for God and His laws and were very militant. Zealots carried daggers and were not afraid to use them on the enemies of Israel. They hated the Romans who worshipped a pagan god and they were called dagger-men. We would probably call them assassins or terrorist's. They would not be considered wishy-washy theologically and good candidates for today's ecumenical movement. They were not afraid to voice and act on sound doctrine as found in God's law (Very much unlike today's Christians). We could learn a lot from some of the actions of the zealots. Like for example, they knew the word of God and weren't afraid to follow it, they loved God with all their heart, mind and soul. Sounds familiar doesn't it, it's what we're suppose to do, they would willingly die for God (Would we today be so willing).

    What this book is attempting to say is that we as followers of Christ, should stand fast to sound doctrine. We should not accept theology that sounds nice but has so much Scripture to the contrary. As you read this book, no doubt you will get mad, maybe very mad, but please look at the Scripture material as it is presented. We as believers often get locked into a set theology and will not look at any Scriptures that might rock the boat. Jesus took passages from the Old Testament, like Thou shalt not commit adultery and elaborated on it. He said if we even look on a person with lust that we have committed adultery in our hearts. Let me ask you a question, do you know how many people you have committed adultery with? Or should I rephrase the question, how many people have you lusted after? Do I sound like I'm self righteous or better than you, because it's obvious from the questions that I have asked, that I think your immoral and I'm better. I think that I am a poor Christian at best, but the way we talk and act around people causes them to judge Christianity, and us, so be careful.

    In today's Church there are people who go from Church to Church. They always seem to find a problem and start trouble. Are these so called Church hoppers, modern day Zealots , or are they nothing but troublemakers? Are they trying to spread sound doctrine, and if they were would you support them, even if it goes against your Churches Doctrine's. If you support them you may become branded as a trouble maker (OUTLAW), and your Church may be calling others, to warn them about you. WARNING - WARNING - WARNING - The religious leaders of ancient Israel warned their peers of the Galilean troublemaker (Jesus). If you're right, your in good company.

    I look upon the different Churches of main line Christianity, who preach you must be born again, as my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I look at each person and Church as an intricate part of the Body of Christ, one in the Lord! We as Christians should be like or older brothers, the Jews. God separated them by tribes; each tribe had their own part of the land that God gave them. They were separate but ONE. Their beliefs in the Creator of the universe, their God, were the same. With time their religious doctrines became different. They still believed in the same God, but what was written in the Scriptures was looked upon in a different way. Let us look at two groups, the Pharisees and the Saducees. The Pharisees believed in the resurrection as stated in the Word. The Saducees believed when you die that's it, where did they get a doctrine like that? Kinda sounds like some of the doctrines floating around today, they were plucked right out of the air, (you should know who they came from, the father of lies). Speaking about doctrines out of the air lets change gears, infant baptism. Let's look at the following Scripture verses, note highlights.

*MARK 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

*ACTS 8:12,13 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. (No babies) Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

*ACTS 18:8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, Believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

*ACTS 19:3,4,5 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

    The Church that I'm attending now, preaches the Gospel, loves the Lord and does all the things that they should. But they like so many others, baptizes infants. The Scripture verse used by this denomination and others involved in this practice are as follows.

Matt. 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. I may be stupid and blind, but please explain to me where baptism is involved with this statement of Jesus. Even taken out of context, like it is above, it still has nothing to do with baptism. Now lets look at the same verse in context of the paragraph.

Matt. 19:13-15 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence. What I read out of this passage is that these children were brought to Jesus to have hands laid on them and to be prayed for PERIOD. The word baptism is not used or even remotely implied. Now lets back up to the last paragraph and look at the verses that use the word baptism. These verses have several things in common, no babies getting baptized, people believed and were baptized in that order and no other. In intensive personal study of the New Testament I have never read anywhere that people got baptized before they heard the word. If I'm wrong tell me, that, according to the Scriptures, If you think that your Churches version of what is right is right, don't tell me, tell God. My Bible says that God is not a liar, his word says in

MARK 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Note it says believe first, now if your new born baby gives a personnel testimony about how they received the Lord and asked him into their heart, and he saved them from their sins, etc: lets fill up the baptismal tank and baptize them right now. If your child hasn't done this you might consider dedicating them to the Lord, that's in the Bible. Or does your Church do that, I mean dedication's, that's a thought; does your Church follow the Bible? Or are they like so many, that only follow portions and include their false doctrines and make them equal with God's Word.

    If I have insulted you in this last portion, I have one more quote then I'll go on for now. Ever heard of the great commission, we find it in Matt. 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    Churches throughout the ages have split apart on issues of doctrine. Most doctrines like the one above are easy to understand if you read your Bible. Oh! We wouldn't want to read the Bible, we've been told it is to hard to understand, and we might make a mistake in understanding ourselves so people in authority over us, tell us what to believe. We just sit there and obey blindly what is being told us. Well I guess I'm stupid, but when I read THOU SHALT NOT KILL, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. How about this verse, 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. What I get from this passage is that God wants us to study His word, He approves of that, so why do we have someone else tell us what the truth is, without even checking it out for ourselves?

    Prayer is another sticky point between many Churches. Some groups use prayers from books, and some pray to other people in the hopes that their standing with the Father will have greater influence in having their petitions granted. The Bible has much to say about prayer, like who we are to pray to, lets take a look at what the Word has to say, about prayer books.

MATT. 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. If you read the same prayer over and over isn't that repetition, doesn't it go against what the Bible says, then why do you do it, and why does your Church promote it?

    Now lets look at the words of Jesus again.

MATT. 6:9-13 AFTER THIS MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE: OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS. AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL: FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY, FOR EVER. AMEN. (OR, IF YOU USE TRESPASSES, AND LEAVE OFF FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM ETC: THE POINT I'M TRYING TO MAKE IS THE SAME.)

    The instruction and prayer above that Jesus gives, tells us a lot.

Point number one, after this manner, which means, like this, not this exact prayer.

Point number two, we are to pray to the Father, nowhere in the Bible are we instructed to pray to anyone else.

Point number three, do you really want to say the Lord's prayer (Our Father), what your asking God to do, is forgive you the way you forgive other people. Think about it, you should thank your Pastor and denomination, for bringing God's judgment upon you!

PRAY TO ONE OF THE SAINTS! This doctrine has been around for awhile, and is another misinterpretation of the Scriptures.

"Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne." Please note the wording all saints in the above quote. When people pray to saints, they pray to saints that have died and went to be with the Lord, (Someone besides God has decided they went to Heaven, I didn't know that anyone was as important as God was).

    The Bible tells us that all believers are saints, living and dead. To prove this point that saints can be living, I will quote the Apostle Paul from the book of Romans, it was written to living people. Please read the entire chapter.

12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

    There is a doctrine held true to all Christians, the Virgin Birth. It is considered one of the absolutes, which I agree with wholeheartedly. Mary was a virgin when Jesus was born, if you don't believe it then your not a Christian. Some people pray to the Virgin Mary and there is a passage that implies that Jesus will do what she asks and on that passage is based the doctrine of prayer to Mary, John chapter 2:2. And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4. Jesus saith unto her, Woman what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
19. And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

    Now if we read this last passage carefully, we do notice that Jesus did make wine, but look at the way he addressed his mother, Woman. Does this sound like we should venerate Mary or is Jesus trying to tell us something, like Mary isn't to be worshipped or elevated to a position equal with God. Either way, one passage is not enough to establish a doctrine, so let's look at some more. Turn to Luke chapter one, and you will read.
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

    Please note verse 42 above, part of this verse is quoted in the Rosary, but verse 46 and 47 doesn't appear. Mary called God her Saviour, she did not make herself equal to God. Now turn to Mark's Gospel chapter three and read the following verses.
31 There came then his (Jesus) brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33 And he answered them, saying, ? Who is my mother, or my brethren
34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

    Have you ever told anyone about God, explained something to someone about the Bible or any of the many things that God wants us to do? Well if you have, then you are doing the will of God as stated in verse 35 above, then according to Jesus you are the same as Mary. If you are equal to Mary please write to me so I can start praying to you instead of God. That's ridiculous right, well if the Rosary is correct then praying to you is correct (absurd isn't it). Mary was special in God's eyes to say she was blessed is correct. But she is not to be elevated to a position equal to God. Mary was a virgin till after Jesus was born, to prove this we will look at several Scriptures in Genesis

3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

    Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden together. they walked and talked with God together, they knew each other. When the word knew is used in regards to a man and a woman's relationship it means sexually not mentally, (Please look at 4:1 above), I believe this verse proves it now let's look at Matthew's Gospel chapter one.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

    Some Church's have kneelers, to make it easy to pray. Have you attended one of these Churches, I think it is a good idea to kneel in public to pray, not to kneel and fold your hands and check out Suzy Creamcheese in the next isle. Other Churches wear out the seat of their pants praying. Real sincere prayer should be from the heart, not long prayers with great swelling words. Now turn to Luke chapter 18.
9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

    What I believe Jesus is telling us in this last passage is that the publican should be a model for our prayer life, right from the heart. If we attend Church on a regular basis and do the things that we are suppose to, it would be real easy to become self-righteous just like the Pharisee.

    As you read this book you will realize that I'm not a theologian. I'm just an every day working moron, so who has given me the right to shoot holes through all the denominations out there. As you read on you will also realize that it is not only my right, but also my duty as a born-again Christian. Many of the things commented on I have experienced personally and upon studying God's Word, they have disturbed me greatly, that is why I am writing this book. If you find spelling mistakes, grammar errors as well as punctuation in the wrong place, please overlook them, it has been a long time since high school. Please study and research everything I say, along with everyone else. We will be judged by God's Word, not Dick's or pastor so and so.

    As you drive down the highways, people will pass you on motorcycles with long hair and tattoos, wearing leathers. You will probably think in your mind what a bunch of heathens, be careful, you just might be judging your brothers. You see many churches have dress codes and believe Christians should look a certain way, can you back that up with Scripture. You see I belong to a Christian motorcycle club and the clothes I wear cost as much as your suit. Do you think the disciples wore suits to minister to fishermen or did they dress and look like them? I hope to include in this book articles that have appeared in a motorcycle publication that is widely read by bikers. Our club believes we can minister in areas that you may not be able. We are endeavoring to sow seeds and the simple Gospel message wherever we go, like all Christians should. We are trying to get people to open and read their Bible, ask for the Holy Spirit to reveal the truths held in the Scriptures, and make them clear to you. We are to stand fast to sound doctrine, not man made fables and old wives tales (QUESTION, QUESTION EVERYTHING, MAKE PEOPLE PROVE IT TO YOU). Learn as much as you can about God (The truth) and tell others about it. I have felt ashamed of the Churches, when I think that some of the unsaved have been given more information than the body, what a sad commentary on all of us. I hope this book makes you mad and because of your anger you spend more time in the Word. Learn what's right and ask that God will use you on a daily basis. He has done so much for us, and our love (at least most of us) has grown so cold, we have entered a dangerous place. Let's turn to Revelation Chapter Three and look at Jesus' words.
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
(If you don't know what spue means, it means throw-up, puke, barf, blow your lunch, that's what we are doing to Jesus, making him sick to his stomach. Ya, you,  me, and the rest of the so called Christians.)

    Let's shift gears again, below is an outline that was used at our motorcycle clubs last business meeting.

J E R E M I A H

Chapter 18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and destroy it;
8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
9 And of what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

QUESTION - Who is the house of Israel? What does these verses say to you?

    I believe God lead me to this passage, after reading it I realized it applied to many others and me. We are the clay, Jesus is the potter and the clay has many faults, (sins) and the potter is trying to remove them and make a pleasing and useful vessel, without flaws. The question is, are we willing to let the Lord change our lives or are we holding on to our favorite sin's? You might say that I'm not holding onto any sin's, but the Bible says in the book of Romans Chapter Three verse 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Note the wording all have sinned, that means you and me, the Pope, your Pastor, your mother - EVERYONE - PERIOD

    Jesus has done so much for us and we don't deserve it. I think we should ask him the same thing that Peter asked him, to wash us.

John 13:4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.
5 After that he poureth water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

    When we asked Jesus into our hearts he washed us in his blood, I think we need daily washing (Total submission to God and his Word) to keep clean. I also believe we should be a lot more zealous in doing His work, our prayer should be that the Holy Ghost rekindle the fire (Love) that we first had towards God when we got saved. Now let's look at a few verses about zeal.

Numbers 25:11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

Acts 21:20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: (Can we say this about our Church?)

22:3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.

1 Corinthians 14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

Galatians 4:17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

    Most of us attend the Church that our parents attended, because our family has always been a blank. Or we like where we go because the people are friendly and the sermons make us feel good. Do you really think that this is what God wants? I have witnessed to many people and have heard the comment made many times that I couldn't change my religion because of my parents, family or wife. If I did I would be disowned or I would bring shame to my family. I'm a Christian and I belong to the Church of whatever, the only true one or one of the many true Churches of God. Or have you heard this one, if you live a good moral life you will go to heaven because your good, God won't exclude you from his kingdom, or all your good works has earned you a spot in heaven. Well let's stop for one minute and think of some of the statements in this paragraph and compare them in the light of God's Word. Point number one, if you're a Christian and you belong to denomination X and you join denomination Y, have you changed your religion or just changed Churches? Now think about this, Peter is talking to Jesus, and he says, yes,  Jesus I accept you as my Lord and Saviour but I can't call myself a Born-Again Christian because I am A Jew, the only true religion, and my family has always been Jews, how can I change my religion? What would my family think? If I change, I'll be still worshipping the God of Abraham and following the Torah but I would be denying the faith, I can't do that! Thank God that Peter decided to follow God Almighty's leading instead of men. Peter didn't change religion, he followed Jesus' leading and the Word of God, he sat at the Master's feet and were taught truths from the Scriptures whether they made him feel good or not. Aren't we suppose to be taught (AND LED) by our pastor's from the Word of God as stated in the Bible, or do we want to listen to a bunch of nice sounding fairy tales on Sundays? Point number two, no matter what we do, no matter how good we are, we don't deserve to go to Heaven. There is only one way to get there, this is not my idea, and there is only one way to interpret this verse, read it carefully.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Notice that Jesus said that He was the way, not the Church of whatever, we are saved by faith in Him not the Church of whatever, or His mother, or anything else. Christ is the ONLY WAY, PERIOD. I can't stand before God (The Father) and say you have to let me into Heaven because I am member of the Church of Bla, who cares, what's important is the fact that we have accepted Jesus into our hearts and put our trust and faith in Him, that we follow Him, that we obey His teachings. If we are born into a Christian home that doesn't make us a Christian. You should attend a Bible believing and teaching Church, the heck with what your family thinks, it's more important what God thinks, lets take a look at what Peter says

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
