Our Acceptable Use Policy Your questions may be answered here! Our policy for all our sites and our Ministries partners is simply this 'freely we receive' from the Lord' and so 'freely we give' of the gifts and talents the Lord has provided! So, please use any of the resources that you might find on one of our pages on your church, ministry or personal web site. PLEASE do not use them on a business site or a site that you are creating for "profit". Please don't alter any of our images on our sites. If you desire a Christian website, please contact SOA Web Ministries, their (Home) link is at the bottom of this page Please add a link on your site to one or all our Ministry partners. Why a link? Providing a link on your page that displays any of our resources allows people to find us and use all of our services that are available, just like you did. If you view the Seed of Abraham Motorcycle Club's website, you can see all the work they have done to make finding resources on the net easier for other Christians. Matthew 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Don't hide your sources, but let their light shine with yours as we all proclaim the Gospel message. If you use any of our graphics or sound files please link to them! What is linking you ask, if you see a graphic on our site and you copy it and paste it into your webpage, that's linking, the file is not on your web space, but on ours. We want you to use our files, but we want them to be placed in your web space (Where your web page is). Linking results in what is known as "stealing bandwidth". When you link to our files instead of making your own copy you are using the files stored on our web host. This consumes our bandwidth - all web owners have to pay for bandwidth. Make copies for your own files and then upload them to your web server. If you don't understand how to do that, I'll explain the steps. When you find the file you want right click on it and pick save as on the box that appears. Another window will appear and it will have the file name already in the right place at the bottom. At the top will be a small window that says save in, pick the location where your web page files are located and then click the save button at the bottom. Now add the files to your web page then upload your changed page and all the files to your web space. Another good practice to follow is always have someone else on another computer check out your webpage and see if all the graphics load. And to hold their mouse pointer over every picture and make sure it doesn't turn into a hand that signifies its a hyperlink, when its not suppose to be. I would like to thank all the Christian webmasters who have helped us over the years to have a presence on the net.
