We have a lot in common, just about everyone of us had a problem with booze, or drugs and were on our way to HELL. Then at just the right time, Jesus entered our lives and changed everything and we have become Sons of the Living GOD ! Amen !

Eccl. 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

......Here is a true story. Pretty much most of my life I have always loved motorcycles. It all started when I was about 14 years old I bought my first mini bike. I went through about 5 mini bikes and blew up the engines on at least three of them and decided I would move up to a so called real motorcycle.
......So I got two paper routes one in the morning and one in the afternoon, after school and bought a Honda XL 75. Not being satisfied with that I traded it in for a brand new XL 125. From there I got a Honda CM400, from there to a Honda magna 750.
......I was at the time in my life when I wanted everything fast. The crowd I hung around with fit that life style. We would ride our bikes together go drinking, drugging, and partying everywhere. One day after work I was on my bike and a lady cut me off and I flew over the handlebars head first into her car and wiped out the bike. I almost went out and bought a New Honda V65 magna, but a buddy of mine at work owned a 1983 Sportster and yelled at me for wanting to buy another rice rocket. He told me to take his bike for a run and guaranteed me I would want a Harley after that. You know what he was right. There is nothing like the awesome thunder of a Harley between your legs.
......When I bought my New Harley Roadster, in 1985, I started hanging around with a much rougher crowd. This crowd loved to party I'll tell you. The drinking, the drugs, the partying got more intense. I started using cocaine a lot. Before I new it I was addicted to it. But my lifestyle kept going and I bought a 1980 Harley WideGlide, which thank God I still have today.
......The cocaine use got worse and worse and worse till it was totally out of control. Because of the addiction me and my wife were separated three times and almost got a divorce because of it. Every day the first thing I would think of when I woke up was cocaine and nothing else. It started affecting my job, my friends, and my life all around. I won't lie to you I honestly thought about suicide many times but did not attempt it, thank God.
......I was so depressed, I tried all different avenues to stop like narcotics anonymous, which only bummed me out at the meeting and I picked up some coke on the way home from the meeting. I tried alcoholics anonymous because they do talk about a higher power, for I did believe in God, I was raised a catholic. But that didn't help either, a higher power there to some people could have been there television. Than it was off to I don't even know how many counselors but as you guessed it that didn't help either. By this time I was at the end of my rope and just ready to give up.
......Than something wonderful happened. My good friend Steve invited me to go to church with him that Sunday nite. But I did not think that would do any good so I told him I was all set, after all I was raised a catholic. Steve belonged to a bible believing Baptist church and thought it would do me some good. A couple of days later I ended up using again so I called Steve up and told him I would go with him on Sunday nite. I was really nervous about going and wondered what kind of people went to the church.
......When I walked in the first person I met was the pastor and he greeted me with a firm smile and handshake. I was still a little nervous till the next person I met. The next person was a biker named Mark, he also greeted me with a smile and a handshake. I really can't even tell you what the preacher said during his sermon because I still felt funny being there. But Mark walked over to me and handed me his bible to follow along with, that really touched me. At the end of the service the preacher told everyone to bow there head and close there eyes because he had something very important to ask us. He asked if there was anybody here that if they were to die tonight do they know that they would go to heaven. If there is anybody here that is not sure please raise your hand. So I raised my hand because I knew I deserved to go to hell for all the drugs and partying I had done. The preacher asked those who raised there hands to come forward and he would have someone show me from the bible how I could know that night that I was on my way to heaven.
......When the alter call started I did not go forward because I was still nervous. But Marks girlfriend Debbie came over to me and tapped me on the shoulder and encouraged me to go forward. With a little bit of persuasion she talked me into going forward, so I did. The pastors brother Tim took the bible and showed me a few simple things. Being on my knees I prayed and invited Jesus into my heart. That was on April 16 1995.
......The next morning I woke up and can you believe it for the first time in years the first thing I thought of that day was God. I was so excited, I just couldn't wait to tell someone what Jesus had done for me. So I called Steve's house and talked to his wife Joyce and told her the good news. I did use a couple of times after that in the following two weeks but what a difference in my attitude. After that I did not use for thirty days and boy was I happy. To thank the Lord for what he had done and kept me clean for those thirty days I got baptized. After all baptism is the first command of God after you get saved and I only wanted to be obedient. Baptism does not save you but it is a testimony to others that you trust in the death, burial, and most importantly the resurrection of Jesus.
......Things did turn around for me, my life got better, me and my wife got back together, and I now attend Church 3 times a week, praise the Lord, for that. I trust that the Lord lets things happen so that he can use it to show us that we do need him. Maybe this is why I have a burden in my heart for people to tell them about Jesus. After all the bible does say And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. The reason I wrote this is to hopefully find someone out there that can relate to this story and doesn't know where to turn. Well I can tell you where to turn, it is toward Jesus, he works for me. Well I cant think of a better way to end this but to tell you what Tim told me on April 16 1995.
......The first thing Tim showed me is Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. This tells us that we are all sinners. The second thing he showed me was Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death. This tells us that sin has a penalty and we deserve to go to hell for our sins. The next thing is Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Now this tells me that my good deeds won't get me to heaven. In other words being a good person is not my ticket in to Heaven. It also tells me that the way to Heaven is faith and by Gods grace. Faith in what you might ask. Faith in Jesus and what he did for you. Rom 5:8-9 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. This tells us that Jesus, God came to the earth as a baby born of a virgin lived a perfect life, which made him a perfect sacrifice for us. Jesus, God gave up his life for us and was beaten and was nailed to a cross. Jesus died on this cross and was dead for 3 days. After 3 days Jesus literally rose from the dead to show us that he could overcome and have full control over death. The 3 days Jesus was dead he spent in hell, for all of us, but he overcame death in hell to prove he has full power over this also.
......If you believe all this than that is terrific. But just by knowing the truth is not enough, you need to accept this gift of God. Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. . Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. All you have to do right now is to pray and accept salvation, but remember this if you do not accept Jesus you are rejecting him and he will reject you when you die and cast you into hell. Please believe me when I tell you God does not want any to go to hell. 2 Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, ...... not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

 So why not pray this prayer:

......Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and because I am a sinner I deserve to go to hell when I die. So please forgive me of all my sins and come into my heart right now and save me! Right now by faith I am trusting in you and only you for my Salvation. I accept this gift and thank you for it. In Jesus name I pray Amen!!!
