Testimony

I was raised in the church and left at an early age. I just couldn't live the life where I was not allowed to laugh or speech so I left the church. I was even told when the Lord called me that the Lord did not speak to me. I ran for many years, I was in to drugs, alcohol, motorcycles, etc. At the time that I totally gave my life to the Lord I was working in a bar as a bouncer. A woman came in one Saturday night and began witnessing to me, and asked me if I would go to church with her on Wednesday night, the last night of a revival. I told that I would, on June 5, 1996, when we pulled up in the parking lot I told her not to let the preacher single me out. If he did I would get up and make a fool out of everyone there. At about 6:35, 5 minutes into the sermon the preacher walked up to me and said can I talk to you? I got up and walked to him, he laid a small bible on my forehead.....When I came to I was on the floor. This happened to me 3 times. On the last time, I looked up from the floor and gave my life to Jesus. While I was on the floor the Lord told me this was my last chance. He showed me that night that I was to witness to bikers, the same world that I just came from. I left the church that night and returned to the bar and began to tell everyone what had happened. I had forgotten that I had a gram of meth on me, till I stepped out of the car. I poured it out on the sidewalk and the Lord delivered me from drugs (Praise God). Every since then I have been following the Lord where he leads. Through different ministries and his word he has been teaching me, and all I can really say is that Jesus is now my life. Praise and Glory be to the Lord,
