Testimony

 I was raised Catholic and Baptist. I knew about Jesus and God but didn’t know about salvation. I got married and moved to Texas. I bought a TV and watched Billy Graham and got saved, but I was afraid to tell my mother because she was Catholic but an angel woke me up to pray about it. Mom blamed my wife Roxie for changing me. I was baptized in a local Baptist Church. All of that was about in 1962, but I got away from church, went to Vietnam, I got close to God again. I promised God I’d start serving Him again. I left Vietnam and started drinking again. In 1971 we went to San Antonio. In 1975 I left the church and we went to Germany. Then we finally settled in Alabama on March 1978, I had started drinking again, but one night I was on my 2^nd drink and a voice (that I now know was God) said no more, I laid it down and I’ve been clean and sober ever since, and serving the Lord.
