Most of the following has happened in the past 7 years or so.

My wife has had breast cancer, lung cancer, 5 disks replaced in her neck etc, etc.. With all this, she didn’t have to take chemo, or radiation, and is doing fine now.

I wasn’t suppose to live to the age of 14, I’m now 56. In the past few years, I’ve been diagnosed with a malignant melanoma, my colon perforated, while I was in the hospital for diverticulitius. They did a colostomy, and reversed it in about 2 1/2 months, the melanoma was removed and all is well.

We got to thinking, we had excellent doctors, hospitals, and the techniques to deal with these problems. BUT, there had to be more to it than this. We KNEW, the Lord must have His hands on us. So, we started searching. All we had to do was accept Him. Didn’t really know how to do this. We knew you had to believe in Jesus as your Lord. That came easier for my wife than me. I’m fairly analytical. When I got to thinking of the Bible as a history book, it hit me. Why did I believe Columbus discovered American? The history books told me he did. So, now believing in Jesus Christ, I asked for forgiveness. Being as unworthy as I am, I was forgiven. I don’t know what the Lord has in store for us in this life, but, I hope and pray that we do things every day that pleases Him.
