A study of Solomon

II Chronicles 9:1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon,
she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very
great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and
precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with
him of all that was in her heart.

II Chronicles 9:2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was
nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.

II Chronicles 9:3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of
Solomon, and the house that he had built,

Chronicles 9:4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his , and
the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also,
and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of
the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

II Chronicles 9:5 And she said to the king, [It was] a true report which
I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:

II Chronicles 9:6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine
eyes had seen [it]: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom
was not told me: [for] thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

II Chronicles 9:7 Happy [are] thy men, and happy [are] these thy servants,
which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

II Chronicles 9:8 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to
set thee on his throne, [to be] king for the LORD thy God: because thy God
loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over
them, to do judgment and justice.

II Chronicles 9:9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of
gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was
there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.

SOLOMON REPRESENTS THOSE IN DAN. 11:33:

DNL 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet
they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by
spoil, [many] days.

SOLOMON WAS THE WISEST MAN ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH, HE WAS ONE "THAT
UNDERSTOOD"! HE ALSO GAVE UNDERSTANDING TO MANY!

THE QUEEN OF SHEBA WAS CONVERTED AFTER HER HEARING THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON,
THIS IS SEEN BY THE EVIDENCE DISPLAYED; SHOWING A KNOWLEDGE OF GOD AND
PRAISING HIM. JESUS CONFIRMS THIS:

MAT 12:42 {The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this
generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost
parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a
greater than Solomon [is] here.}

SHE CAME TO HEAR FROM GOD AND HER SALVATION WILL BE A CONDEMNING FACTOR
TO THOSE WHO HAD GOD HIMSELF COME TO THEM AND THEY REJECTED IT!

ONE OTHER PROPHECY THAT GOES BEUTIFULLY WITH THIS AND DISPLAYS:
ECC 1:9 The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that
which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new
[thing] under the sun.

ECC 1:10 Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said, See, this [is] new? it
hath been already of old time, which was before us.
IS ISAIAH 60:

ISA 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is
risen upon thee.

ISA 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness
the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall
be seen upon thee.

ISA 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the
brightness of thy rising.

ISA 60:4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves
together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy
daughters shall be nursed at [thy] side.

ISA 60:5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear,
and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be
converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto
thee.

ISA 60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian
and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold
and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.

THEY FROM SHEBA SHALL COME! - THE QUEEN!

WHAT MAKES ONE SHINE? (ARISE, SHINE) ISA 60:1)

ECC 8:1 Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the interpretation of a
thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of
his face shall be changed.

WISDOM, OR INSIGHT DOES!

SOLOMON WAS SHINING TO THE GENTILES AS THIS PROPHECY INDICATES! WHAT
WAS THE RESULT?

2CH 9:9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of
spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any
such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.
COMPARE WITH:

ISA 60:5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear,
and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be
converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto
thee.

ISA 60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian
and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold
and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.

ISAIAH PROPHESIED THAT THE HISTORY OF SOLOMON WOULD BE REPEATED!

NOTICE ALSO THIS LITTLE COMPARISON:

ISA 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the

SHE CAME FROM THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH = THY SONS SHALL COME FROM AFAR
AND THY DAUGHTERS SHALL BE NURSED AT THY SIDES

THE QUEEN OF SHEBA, OR AS JESUS CALLS HER, (for a very good reason) "THE
QUEEN OF THE SOUTH" REPRESENTS PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WHO LISTEN TO THE WISDOM
OF GOD THROUGH THE 144K AND ARE CONVERTED! THIS IS SEEN EVEN BETTER IN THE
FOLLOWING DEFINITION OF "SOUTH":

PSA 89:11 The heavens [are] thine, the earth also [is] thine: [as for] the
world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
PSA 89:12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon
shall rejoice in thy name.

HEAVENS = NORTH

EARTH = SOUTH

THE QUEEN OF THE SOUTH IS THE QUEEN OF THE EARTH!

ONE OTHER BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE COMES TO THE SURFACE IN THIS ENCOUNTER
WITH SOLOMON:

1CO 9:7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a
vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a
flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?

1CO 9:8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?
1CO 9:9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the
mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for
oxen?

1CO 9:10 Or saith he [it] altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt,
[this] is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and
that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
1CO 9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, [is it] a great thing if
we shall reap your carnal things?

SOLOMON SHARED SPIRITUAL THINGS, AND THE QUEEN SHARED MATERIAL (CARNAL)
THINGS IN RETURN. THE SAME WILL HAPPEN WITH GOD'S LAST DAY MESSENGERS,
THEY WILL NOT HAVE TO BE BURDENED WITH MAKING A LIVING WHILE THEY
SHARE THE WORDS OF LIFE:

PHI 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in
glory by Christ Jesus.
