GREED

PSA 10:3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and
blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

PSA 119:36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to
covetousness.

PRO 15:27 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but
he that hateth gifts shall live.

PRO 18:1 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh
and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

PRO 23:6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye,
neither desire thou his dainty meats:

considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.

PRO 28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he
that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.

the way of his heart.

JER 6:13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of
them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet
even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

JER 8:10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and
their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from
the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from
the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

EZE 16:27 Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over
thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee
unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the
Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.

EZE 33:31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they
sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they
will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but
their heart goeth after their covetousness.

HAB 2:5 Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a
proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as
hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth
unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:

MAT 23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for
ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but
within they are full of extortion and excess.

MAR 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit,
lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

LUK 11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make
clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward
part is full of ravening and wickedness.

LUK 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of
covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance
of the things which he possesseth.

ROM 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication,
wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder,
debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

ROM 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in
me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

1CO 5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world,
or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for
then must ye needs go out of the world.

1CO 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if
any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or
an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with
such an one no not to eat.

1CO 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers,
nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

EPH 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time
