Introduction                                       21-Jan, 1991

     Thank you for downloading this introduction to THE CRITICAL
ELEMENT series of letters.

     These letters are currently being distributed anonymously on the 
campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, 
Tennessee.  The reason for their anonymous distribution is as 
follows.  I am a very egotistical person.  If word got out that I was 
the one responsible for these letters, part of the praise that is now 
being directed toward God would be directed toward me.  That is human 
nature.  Well, if that were to happen I'm afraid I would get the big 
head and the letters would cease to bring the glory to God.  
Therefore I have elected to remain anonymous.

     These letters are on this BBS in their almost unmodified form.
By this I mean I have converted their native WordStar format to 
simple ANSI, but have left the text unchanged.

     God has truly blessed this ministry of mine and I hope to be 
able to continue it for some time to come.
