EVA:The Analyst - Which Religion is RIGHT? by Neil D. Cameron (How to settle your own satisfaction the age old question, WHICH RELIGION is RIGHT?) Where there is ignorance of God's Word, all false religions hrive, and in the same proportion that the Bible has been eglected by the people of out nation these cults have ncreased. All false cults deny the most outstanding fundamentals of the cripture and THERE IS NO SURER WAY OF DETECTING A FALSE RELIGION han to make one's self acquainted with these fundamentals and ee what they have to say about them, and when they deny them, sk by whose authority they refute God's Holy Word. An Analyst takes a substance, the quality of which it is his job o determine and by applying certain chemicals in a way known to is trade is able to tell what this substance is made up of and hereby judge if it is good or bad. In most industries, analyzing the raw material in order to etermine its genuineness and purity is extremely important to revent disastrous results in their finished products. These same rules apply exactly to spiritual things, say for xample the analyst referred to becomes concerned about his soul's welfare and wisely decides to set out and see what must be done o assure its eternal safety. After months of inquire and looking nto many of the religions of our modern day he becomes onfused for awhile, then being a man of wisdom decides to test heir merits in exactly the same manner that he tests materials oming into his factory. Taking the Bible which he sincerely elieves to be the infallible word of God, he makes a list of ome of the main fundamental truths and using these as the lements of analysis, he sets out to apply them to the different eligions and note the reaction on each. The first to go into his ""Test Tube" was one of the well known nd very much publicized cults of our day to which he applied ohn 1:14, 18, 1 John 1:7 and Psa. 9:17. As he applied these Elements" of truth, they were violently expelled., He had any other "Elements" which he could have applied to this cult, y the results of the above tests were sufficient to condemned it. All the religions he had contacted were put through similar ests, and whereas a number of the responded to SOME of the Elements", were extremely violent when tested by others, herefore they had to be put on the condemned list. Seeking truth in this systematic manner is most -0pleasing to od, and the results worked identically the same as his xperiments in the laboratory, so he culled out one after nother, until he found the old time religion where every undamental truth he applied to it, responded with perfect armony. He did not have to look further, he knew by experience hat he had found the genuine and pure article, then with erfect confidence came to God in GOD'S WAY and got the Peace nd Joy of sins forgiven, God's Spirit bearing witness with his pirit that he was born again, he became a new creature in hrist Jesus. That is a practical, applied wisdom, could anything be more easonable, unbiased and free of bigotry or selfishness? In contrast, a foolish man trusting to he own understanding would o whole heartedly into any religion that happened to appealed to im without testing it by the whole Word of God and in all incerity promote and defend it and refuse to listen to those who ould advise him to apply the test of God's whole Word to the oundation of his faith and in the end stumble into an eternal ell to pay for his folly. With such an important thing as the Eternal Destiny of our ever-dying soul at stake, would it not be wise to test our onfidence and see what it is grounded upon? For FACTS are hard hings that are not in any way altered by our beliefs, sincere r otherwise. "Examine yourselves whether ye be in the faith" (2 Cor. 13:5) If you do not believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of od, then you are in the same position as the analyst would be ithout chemicals, but if you are seeking after light and truth, aith will come by reading the Scriptures uninfluenced by any erson or doctrine and asking God's help and guidance. If you are a sincere, open-minded person and wish to know beyond doubt, whether the doctrine you are following is strictly ccording to God's plan, there will be no difficulty if you read he doctrine or creed of your religion in the light of the criptures, instead of reading the Scriptures in light of your eligion. Failure to observe this vital rule is where so many incere people have been deceived by false cults. Beware of an-made keys to the Scriptures. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable or doctrine" (2 Tim. 3:16). Given here is a list of fundamental Scripture truths or Elements" by which you and analyze a religion to determine if t be true of false, get a Bible and look up these quotations nd apply them to the doctrine you may be interested in to see if t will stand the test of God's Holy Word. In making your analysis, it is one of the utmost importance to emember this rule - "anything added to or subtracted from the cripture in compiling a doctrine, is putting the wisdom(?) of an in place of the wisdom of God and must necessarily bear His urse." There are no exceptions to this rule, therefore it should be a imple matter to detect false doctrine.
