A VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS
Terry is not that much different from any other
Christian--on the surface, that is. She attends church
regularly, reades her Bible every day, prays with great
conviction, and is a blessing to many. To look at Terry, you
would never know she suffers from an evil tourment almost
continuously. Her torment is the same as many others coming
from her same background. It is the torment of unresloved
occult involvement.
When Terry is alone, isolated and apart from the
edification of believers, a severe oppression overcomes her.
It is almost more than she can handle. Sometimes it is mental
torment, sometimes physical, always it is spiritual. When
it's not demonic forces Terry is battling with, it's memories
of occult rite. Under the calm peaceful facade she is so
adept at portraying, there lies a very tormented and
oppressed X-witch.
It's not that Terry's church or pastor are not
concerned about her. There have been many times when
believers have prayed with her and for her. The problem is,
Terry is afraid. She is afraid to let down the wall of
silence. She is afraid of rejection, afraid of retaliation,
afraid the Lord and especially other belivers will stop
loving her. She feels she is the only one who has come out of
Satanism or witchcraft and that no one will understand.
Terry, I have good news for you. First, you now
serve a Master that knows all about you and loves you. He
loved you when you were actively participating in witchcraft
and even when you cursed Him. He loved you enough to die for
you and for your sins. He has paid the total penalty for
every wrong you have done, or ever will do. But that's not
all. There are many Christians who understand. They also
have been through the torment you are suffering and have been
set free by the power of Jesus Christ. They are X's just like
you.
Terry, I want you to know, that not to long ago I
was in your place. I too was lonely, afraid, tormented by
demons. I couldn't forget my past, and the spirits wouldn't
allow me to. God was very gracious. He provided me with true
believers that loved me and wanted me set free. I was
delivered by the power of Jesus Christ.
Today I am free. I am free of demonic oppression and
I am free to serve my Lord. God has called me and many others
like me into a work called Saved And Laboring Together. We
are an anti-occult ministry. Our main objectives are to offer
real, concrete help to people caught in the bonds of the
enemy. We are here for you, Terry, and also all the other
"Terry's" that need our help.
This strange network was set up by X-Witches and X-
Satanists to provide a resource to the Terry's of this world.
We are also here for the beloved believers who have the faith
and strength to follow a call into a ministry of working with
X's. We love you Terry. Doc, Cinderella, Courage, and Black
Suzie have "been there," where you are and we want you to
know that we understand your fears and pray you can benefit
from our mistakes.

OUR MISSION

It was by this scripture that God spoke to me over
three years ago. At the time, I was seeking the Lord as to
what my role was to be in the Body of Christ. I truly wanted
God's will in my life. I wanted to be a submissive servant
unto Him. God, in His mercy, answered my prayer and revealed
His will for me; to follow a call in the ministry that
specifically would free people from the bonds of Satan.
The Lord truly has called me in righteousness. He
truly does hold my hand and keeps me. He has done this since
the day I was saved. I had no problem with this concept.
However, I did have a problem with the idea of being given as
a covenant unto the people as a light unto the Gentiles. I
felt I was not worthy for this kind of call. Besides, who
would listen to me? If this part of the scripture God had
given me was difficult to deal with, the next portion was
next to impossible. It read: "To open the blind eyes, to
bring prisoners out of the prison, and them that sit in
darkness from out of the prison house." Certainly, the Lord
didn't have me in mind for this kind of task!
Again, I went before the Lord. I truly wanted to do
His will, but I felt so unworthy, and certainly unqualified.
I expressed these feelings of inadequacy to the Lord. I could
feel Him simle as He spoke to me: "Of course you are
unworthy! Of course you are unqualified! It is only now that
you recognize these deficits that I am able to help you. For
now my child, you must be totally dependent on me!"
The Lord revealed to me that we as Christians need
not be worthy or qualified, just willing to allow him to work
through us. The Lord has specially chosen those of us who are
the "underdogs" in the eyes of the world. This is evident in
1 Cor. 1:26-31.
It is with this promise from my Lord Jesus Christ,
that I come to the Body of Christ qualified only in Him to
serve the Kingdom. God has truly called together the
strangest band of ruffians, misfits, and outcasts whem He
ordained SALT. We are all truly saved (from a hideous
existance) and laboring together for the Glory of the kingdom
of our Lord Jesus Christ. We humbly present ourselves before
the Body of Christ, as a gift for the work of the ministry.

We belive in one God, the creator of the universe who always
was, always is, and forevermore shall be. We believe that God
is expressed as Father, Son and Holy Ghost. That these three
are all equal personalities of the One True God.
We believe that in the beginning Was the Word. That the Word
was with God, and the Word was God. We believe that the Word
was made flesh and dwelt among us, and is known unto us as
Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God Almighty. He was born of
a virgin as a sinless sacrifice, who died on the cross for
our sins, rose again the third day from the dead, sits at the
right hand of the Father, Ready to come back for His bride,
the Church.
We believe that salvation is only possible through the shed
blood of Jesus Christ and the work that He did on the cross.
We believe that each individual must receive Jesus Christ
into their spirit as their Lord and Savior to be Born Again.
We know that salvation is a free gift of grace and is not
dependent upon works.
We believe in a literal heaven and a literal hell. We also
believe in a literal existence of Satan and his demons. We
acknowledge that Satan and his demons are FORMIDABLY FOES,
who can ONLY be defeated through the power of our Lord Jesus
Christ. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ triumphed over
Satan and his demons at the cross and that the Chruch's final
victory over Satan will be seen when he is cast forever in
the Lake of Fire.
We believe that the Bible is the Living Word of God. We
believe that the entire Bible is completely accurate and
applicable for today. We believe in the gifts of the Holy
Ghost, that they are applicable today and should be in
operation in the lives of those who believe.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost. We believe that
the evidence of the baptism is the power to witness to all
people and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.
We believe that every believer should fulfill the great
commission of our Lord to GO MAKE DISCIPLES. We believe that
God empowers his followers with signs and wonders, that the
sick may be healed, the dead raised, that we can cast out
demons and be a holy vessel for our Lord. We believe that the
porpose for these signs and wonders is to lift up our Lord,
Jesus, so that ll men might be saved.
FROM THE HEART!

Over ten years now have come and gone since I made
the decision to follow Jesus. I still cannot comprehend the
love that God Almighty has for humanity, especially those
coming out of the bonds of the occult. The Lord often touches
my heart and reveals His grace to me. He shows me through the
broken lives of those I minister to that I, myself, would be
there if not for the grace of God.
I want you, the reader to understand, that I am not
a "Super Christian". I have had my ups and downs like ANY
Christian, and especially like EVERY X-WITCH. How many times
have "normal" Christians fallen? Many I assure you. How is
backsliding taken in the Christian community when dealing
with a "normal" Christian? There is a general sadness at the
slip-up, prayer for renewal and great rejoicing once the
believer has been restored. Temptation to go back to an old
habit is spoken of openly in the circles of "normal"
Christians. But what happens when an X-witch falls,
backslides, or has to deal with the temptation of going back
to sin?
There unfortunately exists in the church of today, a
bias double standard. While "normal" Christians are somewhat
expected to be tempted and at times fall, the X-witch is
highly condemned and criticized for even suggesting there is
ever temptation. We are often required to remain silent about
ANY form of temptation, and NEVER allowed to mention we have
ever had a THOUGHT of going back to occult.
Ninety percent of us were "Closet X's" before
conversion. What I mean is, very few people outside
Witchcraft knew we were involved in the black arts. Although
this allowed is to apprear quite "normal" it also led to a
feeling of isolation. When we became born again, this
isolation followed us. Way to many Christians forbid us to
speak about what we consider "normal temptation". We became
"Closet X's."
To many people want to shut the door on our special
problems and act like nothing is wrong. Denial is NEVER the
answer. Our God brings things to light and sets us free.
Now, for those of you that know me, or have known
me, or remember me from those fabulous bedtime horror
stories, you know that I am somewhat of a revolutionary. To
put it mildly, I intend to KICK DONW THIS CLOSET DOOR! This
ingodly wall of silence MUST BE BROKEN of we intend to fight
the good fight of faith.
I for one, will not stand idly by while thousands of
my fellow brothers and sisters are tormented and isolated. It
is time to talk about the temptation of going back to the
craft.
STRESSORS OF AN X
There are many stressors that an X-Witch faces, that
the "normal" Christian has never experienced. Some of these
stressors are VERY MUCH the same as those "normal" Christians
experience. See how many of these stressors YOU relate to:
1. Feelings of being alone or "left out".
When you renounce Satanism or occult involvement, you had
to make a painful decision to leave behind may of your
"talents" and "abilities". More than likely, you were
faily active in your group, having active participation
in many rites. Perhaps you were in a leadership
position, having many responsibilities. As a Christian,
you may be a member of a Church that doesn't utilize all
their members. Even if you are fortunate enough to be a
member of an active Church, you STILL are not as active
as you used to be.
2. Lack of commaradery.
How well I know this one! Being an X for over ten years,
I have been called a pioneer in this area. Unlike many
X's today, I didn't know a blessed soul that was in my
position. I had absolutely no one I could relate to, or
who could relate to my feelings on the occult. A lack of
people to share with can be a stressor indeed!
3. Lack of Credibility!
So very many Christians are so intent on disbelieving
you. This problem is so big on fact, that many X-Witches
go without deliverence for years! I have been
"familiarized" with so many "so-called" deliverence
ministries that don't even believe in the existance of
such things as manitous and nephlim! One of my dear
friends was totally disbelieved by a ministry about her
involvement, after they requested she share with them.
She was told she suffered from an active imagination, and
that there just wasn't THAT MUCH to the occult. Another
friend of mine was asked to go to California to educates
some Christians there. After spending countless hours in
this endeavor, he was informed he was a fake. (However,
the same individual used all his information and gave
themselves credit for its accuracy). Lack of credibility
is a definite problem.
4. Christians doubting your salvation.
Unfortunately, MANY Christians start to doubt your
salvation once you tell them your background. This doubt
is severely increased if you EVER HINT you had ONE
THOUGHT of going back into the craft. On thing you must
never forget Beloved, is that we would be dead if we were
not saved! ON ONE comes out of the craft outside of JESUS
and lives!
TIMES OF THE YEAR FOR TEMPTATION
There is NO set time when temptation might strike
hardest. I have always been of the persuation that
the devil hits you when you least expect it.
There IS power, some correlation between the eight
grove festivals, Easter, and Christmas, and an
oppression for the X. One reason for this is due to
all the incantations that are being used against you
at these times of the year.
You must remember also that old habits are die hard.
If you have feelings that you must be doing
SOMETHING but not sure WHAT, it may be of benefit to
take a look at a calender. Is it two days before the
Spring Soltice?
I think two of the most difficult, are right before
Easter and right before Samhain. So much empasis was
put on these two days in my circle. I was
continously busy at that time of year. I still am,
for the Lord!
INTERVENTIONS
"No temptation has overtaken you but such as is
common to man." But God is faithful, who will not
allow you to be tempted above what ye are able, but
with the temptation, also provide a way of escape,
that you may be able to bear it." I Cor. 10:13.
Understand that YOU are not the ONLY ONE who has
had thoughts about going back into the craft! Also
KNOW that GOD IS ABLE to keep you from falling! He
will provide you with MANY interventions that will
keep you from harm's way. I have found the following
techniques to be especially helpful when I have been
tempted.
1) Understand that this is a spiritual attack!
As a Christian, and ESPECIALLY as an X, you are
engaged in spiritual warfare. (For your information,
everything in novels by Peritti are very true and
happen regularly!) You must learn to resist the
devil, and to rebuke him in the Name of Jesus. Void
every incantation, conjuration, hex, spell, and
curse coming against you, in the Name of Jesus.
Assign any spirit attached to the incatations into
the abyss. Bind the spirits in particular
individuals you KNOW are doing the incantations.
Make sure you pray and read your Bible more often
during the known ritual days.
2) FELLOWSHIP
Don't isolate yourself! Make sure that you plan
fellowship before, during, and after a high day.
Even being with "normal" Christians will help
you forget "what you must be doing.!"
3) Join the X's Network!
As far as I know, THIS IS IT! The SALT X's network
is one of a kind. Our ministry is exclusively to X's
and those who minister to them. We would be happy in
assisting you in the area of fellowship and meeting
X-Witch perpetrators in your area that can help you.
4) Reminiscing!
Reminiscing can be helpful! Even with something as
horrible as Satanism and the occult, there are good
memories, funny things you can sit back and laugh
at.
Above all, remember that God loves you. He sent His
Son to die for you. He will not leave you or forsake
you, even if you DO fall. "I can do all things
through Christ which strengtheth me!" Phil. 4:13

Q. and A. You ask the questions, send them in and we
attempt to answer them. This issues questions come
from Mike Warnke Ministries in Burgin, KY. We thank
them for taking the time to write us with these
questions, and pray that the information here can be
of use to many.
Q. IS ASTRAL PROJECTION REALLY TRUE, AND IF SO, IS
THE PERSON OR MEMBERS LIVING IN THE HOME UNDER
ANY HARM FROM ASTRAL PROJECTION?
a. Astral travel, or projection is not mentioned
in the Word of God. However, there is mention
of the Apostles, Paul and John being 'in the
spirit'. Just as gifts of the Holy Spirit can
be counter-fitted and misused, so can the
ability to be 'in the spirit.' There is NO
DOUBT of astral projection within the craft.
Even witches of nominal levels are adept in
their ability to astral project. The purposes
of astral projection are two fold. First, to
have communication with the spirit world.
Persons that astral project, do so to
communitcate with demons and gain knowledge.
Those in lower levels of the occult do not
acknowledge these entities as demons, but
rather ascended masters or guides. They might
be very surprised at the response of asking
these creatures who they serve. This
communication takes place on the ethreal realm,
also known as the astral plane. To any
knowledgeable Satanist, this is hell.
The second purpose for Astral travel is to
'spy' on human beings. As fantastic as this
sounds, it is none the less true. Individuals
in the craft can and will astral project into
an unprotected home, church or business to find
out what is happening, and to oppress
residents. By unprotected, I mean a home that
has not been consecrated to the Lord or that
has not been annointed. Oil is a symbol of the
Holy Ghost. If we in faith annoint our homes
and churches with oil and cleanse them
spiritually, we could stop MUCH of the demonic
harassment and astral projection. Withces and
Satanists are capable of conjuring spirits and
placing them while they are in astral travel.
A problem arises when it comes to the ridding
of your home of these idividuals. Unlike demon
spirits, human beings have free will. They do
not go the the abyss like demons, and of
course, we should never command them to go
there. It would result in their death. Neither
do we want to keep them out of the body for an
extended period of time, as this might also
cause their death. Remember, by acting in hate
towards these people, they will just think you
are a more powerful witch than they are. Don't
ever forget! It is our first intention to see
them saved and set free by the power of Jesus
Christ, not to curse them!
There is a danger in fighting against these
individuals in our own strength. For this
reason, I petition the Lord to place His angels
around these folks and capture them. I ask the
Lord to hold them there as long as He sees fit.
Again remember, we cannot command human beings
like we can demons. I have at times, read the
Bible aloud in and 'empty' room. I have found
this practice to be most fruitful. The Word of
God is our sword, and the servants of Satan
cannot tolerate to hear it. The Word of God
also has a unique way of staying in these
people's minds. What you read may well be the
passage of scripture that leads them to the
Lord someday. There is POWER in the Word of
God!
I have met some individuals who have astral
projected into my home at a later date 'in the
flesh'. They have literally run me away from me
because of the power of my God and His Word.
I know many of you may be very uncomfortable in
preaching to an empty room, or even believing
that astral projection is real. Please don't
take my word on it. You can easily educate
yourself on the subject by going to your local
library and reading one of the many books on
the subject. The craft KNOWS astral projection
is a reality. They also know that the
mechanisms of astral travel need to be kept
secret.
Astral projection IS A REALITY!, and those who
practice it are HOPELESSLY LOST IN SIN! We as
Christians must always remember it is the power
of our Lord Jesus Christ that will both keep us
safe and lead the lost to Jesus.
This too, is spiritual warfare. However, the
spoils may well be souls.
COWEN'S CORNER

O.K. class, sit down and start taking notes. This
section is exclusively designed for our beloved brethern
have NEVER been involved in the craft, but have the
special call from God to work in this area of sspiritual
warfare. The reason this section is called Cowen's Corner
is because this educational section is for you, and you
are known as Cowans by anyone ever involved in the occult
or withcraft themselves. Since MOST the people you know
are hopefully X-occultists, or Witches, I guess we could
call you X-Cowans. ( A little X-Witch humor ha-ha).
Anyway, our whole purpose is to give you a brief
education in occult practices and rites to equip you in
counseling those bound in the snares of the enemy. We at
SALT have no intention to give massive amounts of
information that will serve no purpose but to oppress
you. We intend to give you the Reader's Digest abridged
edition.
THE EIGHT GROVE FESTIVALS
Within witchcraft, there are eight sacred holidays
that are celebrated throughout "the wheel of the year."
In most cirlces of the craft, these sacred holidays are
known as the "Eight Grove Festivals." The following is a
list of these holidays with their most common names, and
the most common days they are celebrated. NOTE: As in
Christianity, witchcraft and Satanism is divided into
many demoninations, varying slightly in their philosophy
and ritual. Therefore, this list will vary between the
covens.
SMAHAIN: Is the highest of all Satanic and occult
holidays. It is commonly known as Halloween,
celebrated on October 31st. Samhain is the 'new
year' for the occultist, since they want their year
to beging with death. The late fall represents death
the best.
YULE: Is celebrated beginning December 21st
through Jan. 2nd., the beginning of Yule, is also
the celebration of the winter solstice. This is
referred to as "the most holy night of the year,"
seeing that the winter solstice is the one day of
the year when the night is longest.
CANDLEMAS: Better known as the "Festival of Lights,"
grove festival is a time of candle magick.
Candlemas, also known as Candlemaas or Candlemass,
is usually celebrated Feb. 2nd. Many incantations
are performed this time of year.
SPRING EQUINOX: All celestial occurrences are of
extreme importance. Thus, all the solstices and
equinox are celebrated with fervency in the craft.
In the Satanic community, not only is the spring
equinox venerated, but Easter is recognized as well.
Usually, the Easter celebration is a mockery of what
Jesus accomplished on the cross. There is usually a
sacrifice by crucifying a young male.
BELTAIN: Is the secong highest day of the year for
many a witch. It is also known as "May Eve," or May
Day. On this day, craft members are either initiated
or promoted within the craft. It is an entire week
of fierce competition within the craft. Many witches
are severely injured, and some even die. What are
known as 'witch fights' happen almost continously
during this grove festival.
MIDSUMMER'S NIGHT EVE: Known as the summer
solstice, Midsummer's Night Eve is another high day
because of its celestial significance. Many
bonfires and outdoor orgies happen during this
festival. This may be the reason why in many occult
circles the slang name for this festival is "The
Craft Woodstock." This festival is obviously
celebrated June 21st, seeing this is a summer
solstice.
LAAMAS: Is a sacrifice day, Laamas is celebrated
August 1st. Known as the "Day of the Sacrifical
King", Laamas is often a day when elder members
"pass from this life." Laamas is also the start of
harvest season, and many fertility rites are
performed on this day.
FALL EQUINOX: Is celebrated on September 22nd. In
most circles, Fall Equinox is a preparatory day to
call down spirits and used at Samhain. Another
astronomical and celestial day, the Fall Equinox is
venerated as the compeletion of the wheel of the
year.
We hope that by sharing this information with you,
those trying to get out of the craft will be assisted and
rescued. Also, the bonds of Satan will be broken.

HISTORY
The Grove Festivals have their origin with the
Druids of northern Europe. The Druids date backl to
several centuries before Christ. They were a Satanic cult
that adapted many of their practices from the pagans in
the area. This particular sect however, was not benign
like the pagans. The pagans were involved in nature
worship. They venerated the elements such as Air, Earth,
Fire and Water. There religion was based around the
seasons of the year and fertility rites. The sect known
as the Druids incorporated these seasonal religious days
into their worship of Satan. They placed powerful demons
and spirits over each of the 'holidays'. They performed
blood sacrifices to Satan on these days which often
include human sacrifice. The Grove Festivals then are
truly demonic in nature.
EXPLANATIONS AND DEFINITIONS:
INCANTATION: An incantation, spell, conjuration or
hex, are all forms of magick an occultist uses in
their practice of witchcraft. Much could be said
about each of these categories, but for the purpose
of teaching territorial warfare it suffices to say
these are the tools of the occultist. Also, with
each incantation, etc., there IS ALWAYS a demon
attached! Christians ARE A PRIME TARGET for the
incantations of a witch, especially if they are
involved in an "on fire" church.
PRAYING FOR THE SALVATION OF THE OCCULTISTS: The
enitre purpose of this warfare strategy is the
salvation of souls. If anyone's purpose for learning
or using this strategy is malicious or to 'throw back
curses,' you need to examine your heart. WE ARE ON A
SOUL HUNT NOT A WITCH HUNT! Once an occultist is
saved, they become some of the most powerful warriors
you will ever know! They are a great asset to ANY
church.
CONFIDENTIALITY: This standard is also a result
of being on a soul hunt instead of a witch hunt. At
NO TIME should you 'blow' these people's cover! It
could mean their deaths. For this reason, I suggest
either first initial abbreviations on the warfare
sheets or made up names. Also, great care should be
employed when sharing the warfare sheets with
others. Choose your team wisely! Is the person
mature enough in the Lord to handle this type of
warfare, or would they be used by the enemy to
spread rumors and cause division. Warfare IS NOT for
the curious or the arrogant. It for the COMMITTED
CHRISTIAN!

Miss Brown has adhered to her strict tradition of
excellence in the writing of this, her third book. "Vessel of
Honor" is truly a masterpiece in its truism and completeness.
"Vessel of Honor" is unique in it's ability to place you
in the midst of actual spiritual warfare in believers lives.
Miss Brown wrote a great deal on the adventures she and
others have encountered in ministry. I believe this 'personal
touch' gives the reader a clearer idea of 'life in the X-
lane'.
The material on demonic wounds, leylines, curses, and the
such is extremely accurate, as Rebecca Brown consulted with
many X occultists in the writing of this work. There are very
few mistakes in the book, and those that occur are mainly
spelling and context.
This book has also been reported as "recommended reading"
for those still involved in the craft with many reports on
its accuracy and detriment to Satan. this review in and of
itself should make any Christian in spiritual warfare realize
the book's worth.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know
the 'hands on' of spiritual warfare. There is an abundance of
information on the requirements for a call into this kind of
ministry. Miss Brown should be especially recognized for her
brilliant analogy on "The Holy Spirit vs. Spirit Guides." I
feel the mistakes this chapter alone will prevent, makes the

SUBLIMINAL DELIVERENCE?????
This is some kind of joke, RIGHT? - That's what
I thought, until I took a second look. I was
casually browsing through a popular Christian
magazine a few months ago when I ran across an ad
for this very thing. I could barely believe the
advertisement.
The ad read something like this:
Bible-based subliminal messages hit
controlling spirits right where they live and
command them to leave...Then the void is
filled with the Word of God. After my initial
shock, I read the words again. Although the
idea of "subliminal deliverence" was new to
me, I tried to have an open mind as I took the
matter before the Lord.
There was an 800 number listed in the ad,
where you could call for more information. I
dialed the number and spoke with a sweet
Christian Sister who explained to me the tapes.
I came away with the conclusion that there was
certainly nothing demonic on these tapes. No
back-masked messages or the like.
Still, something in my spirit remianed
apprehensive to the idea. Then it all hit me,
subliminal deliverence portrays itself as a
"quick fix" for spiritual problems. Allow me to
explain: The need for deliverence is due to sin
that has allowed Satan to gain a foothold or
legal ground in our lives. When we sin, we do
ACTIVELY. There is nothing passive about
sinning. It is AN ACIVE REBELLION AGAINST GOD!
How can we expect to be freed from sin and from
the footholds of the enemy in a subconscious
manner, when we sin actively? The other issue
that needs to be addressed is: Where is the
repentant heart in subliminal deliverence?
There is none. If we have actively sinned
against God, we must actively repent from our
sins and turn back to God.
Also, any activity that leads to a passive
mind should be avoided. Your flesh cannot be
passively changed, but conscious effort must be
taken to change it. This is seen clearly in
Romans chapters 7, 8, and 12. We are changed
by an ACTIVE renewing of our minds. There just
is no 'quick fix' to remedy sin. We must always
bring it under the cross.
