Three reasons Christ had to come

   He had to come in order:

   I. TO FULFILL PROPHECY

   A. The law required a sacrifice

   B. The Prophets foretold

   C. The One Like Unto Moses

   II. TO DEFEAT SATAN

   A. Taking away the sting of Death.

   B. Giving power to resist temptation.

   C. Conquering the powers of darkness

   III TO RANSOM THE SINNER

   A. Rescuing people from the bondage of sin

   B. Giving a new spiritual life

   C. Providing Joy and assurance

   1. The Resurrection an essential doctrine.

   2. The Decent of the Holy Spirit

   3. The encouragement of the Local churches.

   IV. TO PROVE HIS LOVE

   A. While we were yet sinners.

   B. Compelled to die for his creation.

   C. Out of His infinite mercy.
