GOD'S P AND L STATEMENT

The success of business and industry depends on the accuracy of future 
planning. This planning must consider growth prospects and anticipate possible 
market variations, It is the function of management to be responsible and 
accountable for this plan. This plan is implemented through accurate and 
precise budgeting. The budget is the projected cost figures for a period of 
time culminating in a profit and loss statement. These figures are the basis 
upon which a man's performance is judged. 

GOD has laid out His budget plan in the Holy Bible. He is very specific as to 
what He expects and every person will be held accountable. 

Matthew I 2:36,37 

"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall 
give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be 
justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." 

II Peter 3:9 

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness: 
but is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that 
all should come to repentance." 

Romans 3:23 

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." 

Romans 6:23a 

"For the wages of sin is death...." 

All mankind is lost in sin. However, GOD provided a way of salvation through 
His Son JESUS CHRIST. 

Romans 6:23b goes on to say, 

"... but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." 

In business it is good to have an alternate plan, or as some have referred to 
it, "a back door". GOD provided one way, one plan. Salvation is through His 
SON JESUS CHRIST, There is no alternate plan with GOD. Our debt of sin was 
paid once and for all upon the cross. 

I John 5:11-13 

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life 
is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of 
God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the 
name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life..." 

If your life is culminating in a loss according to GOD'S plan, then receive 
JESUS CHRIST as your personal Savior, and He will credit that loss, for "JESUS 
paid it all." 

God's P and L statement is found in Mark 8:36, "For what shall it profit a man 
if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" 

Right now, wherever you may be, pray this prayer and mean it, and GOD will 
save you as He promised. 

"Dear LORD JESUS, I know I'm a sinner and need to be saved. I believe that you 
rose again and offer me the free gift of salvation. I receive you as my LORD 
and SAVIOR and ask you to be master of my life. Please come and live within me 
now. Amen." 

If you prayed this prayer and meant it sincerely, the Bible says in Luke 
15:10, "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels 
of God over one sinner that repenteth." 

Also in II Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new 
creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
