Can a Christian be Demonized or Demon Possessed?

There is a serious heresy that has infiltrated the body of Christ! This
aberrant teaching claims that Christians, who have been bought by the precious
blood of Jesus Christ, have been gloriously saved, and have been baptized in
the Holy Spirit, can still have demons living within them. Brothers and
Sisters in Christ Jesus, awake to the FACT that this teaching is nothing less
than a doctrine of demons!
This is a heresy that nullifies the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and,
teaches that the Holy Spirit and demons can co-exist in the same body at the
same time.
2 Corinthians 6:14-15 - Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.
For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has
light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has
a believer with an unbeliever?
I believe that if we are to deal honestly with the verses just read, then, we
will have to admit that it is not the custom of the Holy Spirit of the Living
God to hang around places infested with demons. God cannot even look upon sin.
Imagine the repulsion of the Holy Spirit having to live in a temple and share
the premises with demons! To teach such a thing is blasphemous in the worst
way, and, if we have taught such a lie, then we need to fall upon our knees and
repent with tears for teaching what the Holy Spirit and the Word of God has not
instructed us to teach.
Some people claim that the Holy Spirit lives inside the spiritual region in us,
where our spirit lives, and that the demons live in the outer area or the body.
This way they think that they can legitimize their unbiblical doctrine.
But the next two verses and the next one following, punch a serious theological
hole in their psuedo-theology.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 - Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that
the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will
destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
We find not a promise of deliverance but a promise of destruction to the one
who defiles the temple of the Living God! I wonder if we can defile the temple
of God in any greater fashion then by allowing demons to be within us? The
following verse adds to the folly of their twisted logic.
1 Corinthians 6:19 - Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the
Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
It is very clear from the above verse that our BODY is the TEMPLE of the Holy
Spirit, and as we have read earlier, God will DESTROY anyone who defiles
his/her temple (BODY). Demonization is a DEFILEMENT of the Temple of God. And
this can only be true in a Christian as only Christians are Temples of God.
The ungodly are not Temples of God. So, in order for a Christian to reach such
a state that a demon could enter their body, he/she would have had to resist
the Holy Spirit of Grace to such a degree (with persistent and unrepentant
rebellion) that the Holy Spirit, being so grieved, has now left that Christian,
and now that person is eternally lost and without hope. Even though they seek
repentance with tears they shall not find it, but only a fearful looking toward
Judgment. At this point the one who once walked with God, could now become
demonized or demon possessed at anytime as they do not have the Spirit of God
residing within them.
Matthew 12:28-29 - But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the
kingdom of God has come upon you. Or else how can one enter a strong man's
house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he
will plunder his house.
As Jesus Christ Himself declared, no one can enter the body of the person until
the strongman of the body has been dealt with. The Holy Spirit WILL NOT enter
the body of any person until He has first cast out the demons and cleansed the
person. And it works the same the other way. The demon cannot enter the body
of the believer, as he first must deal with the strongman of the believers'
body, who happens to be the Holy Spirit. No demon from Hell nor angel etc.,
can ever have dominion over the Holy Spirit, so the security of the believer in
this area is total, as long as the believer clings to the Lord! If, as a
believer, we decide to cast Jesus off and return like a dog to its vomit then
that is a different story. That soul is then lost forever as one cannot be
saved twice. Just like Moses could not enter the promised land because he
struck the rock twice (which symbolizes crucifying Christ again to the flesh)
so any believer who gets to that point in their rebellion will be kept from the
promised land that Christ is offering us.
1 Corinthians 10:1-4 - Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that
all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were
baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual
food, and all drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock
was Christ.
1 John 4:4 - You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because
He who is in you is GREATER than he who is in the world.
Some will disagree with what has been stated here but I have only the following
portion of Holy Writ to share with them:
1 John 4:6 - We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God
does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
May God be gracious to us by opening up the eyes of our understanding in order
to have discernment in these last days, to see clearly His truth so that we
will not be lead astray by these repugnant heresies that are now approaching
and, in some cases, even now are within the church of God. Lord Jesus!
Deliver us from these false teachers and strengthen us in our feeble knees so
that we might proclaim boldly and with Holy Spirit power the truth of your
glorious gospel, and expose the lies of man and the lies and the deception of
Satan! Please come quickly, Lord Jesus!
