Same old Flim-Flam

   Recently Mr. Horton has been sending out mail from PCS saying that
they believe the King James Bible is the preserved Word of God, and
they "use only the King James Bible" in the classrooms, etc. This, as
in the case of a dozen other Christian schools just like his, is just
so much tripe and chitlins.

   Here it is from the horse's mouth--a graduate level student from
Pensacola Christian College writing from Miami, Florida:

   "Dear Dr. Ruckman, Thank you so much for the free copy of Biblical
Scholarship. I have shared your book with some friends who were all
impressed. For three summers I attended Pensacola Christian College on
the graduate level. I decided not to get my graduate degree from PCC
because they DID NOT take a strong enough stand on the Authorized
Version. MANY PROFESSORS WERE EVEN USING THE NKJV."

   Same old gaffed act. Same old flim flam. Same old duplicity. The
NKJV erases from the word of God the only verse in the entire Bible
that tells you to study it (2 Tim. 2:15). It erases the only verse that
warns you about people corrupting the word of God (2 Cor. 2:17). It
erases the root, bedrock foundation of PCC and Bob Jones, as well as
BBC, in 1 Timothy 6:10, that says, "the love of money is the root of
all evil." Same song, same key, just a different singer.
