When we love our lives so much that we cautiously avoid any effort to reach out to others, or even God, we remain alone, but when we risk going beyond ourselves, in other words, face death, we actually find our lives. Thursday, April 9, 2009 (Holy Thursday) - 7:00 p.m. This is our annual Communion Service on Holy Thursday - we'll sit around the table together and celebrate the Lord's Supper. Friday, April 10, 2009 (Good Friday) - 7:00 p.m. Tenebrae Service - the lights gradually dim as we remember our Lord's death for us. Easter Sunday - April 12, 2009. We begin our celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus with a Sunrise Service led by the teens, at 7 a.m. All participants are invited to enjoy breakfast sponsored by our Trustees at 8 a.m. Sunday School begins at 9:45, and we worship together at 11 a.m.
